Ricardo Rosero

Mr. Rosero has over 25 years of international transfer pricing experience.  In 1994 he joined Coopers & Lybrand’s transfer pricing group in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and from there moved to Mexico in 1998 where he pioneered PricewaterhouseCoopers’ transfer pricing group in Mexico City. Before founding BaseFirma in 2002, Mr. Rosero was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ global transfer pricing group based in Miami, in charge of developing the transfer pricing practice in Florida and several Latin American countries, including Mexico, Argentina, and Venezuela. Over the course of his career, he has managed over 3,000 transfer pricing projects and provided consultation for some of the world’s largest multinational companies. Mr. Rosero has overseen numerous projects involving coordination of multi-country transfer pricing documentation for companies operating in a wide array of industries and regions, including the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, North America, and Latin America.  Mr. Rosero is a frequent speaker at international transfer pricing seminars and contributor to international tax publications such as the International Tax Review – U.K. and the Bureau of National Affairs of Washington. In addition to his transfer pricing experience, Mr. Rosero has worked as a consultant for the Swedish Development Agency in The Hague, The Netherlands and as an economic advisor for the National Planning Department in Bogota, Colombia.  

Mr. Rosero has a master’s degree in economics from the Institute of Social Studies and Erasmus University in The Hague and Rotterdam, The Netherlands and an MBA from European University, Antwerp, Belgium. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Dutch.
