Bernardo Solano Forero

Mr. Solano has over 20 years of experience as a worldwide transfer pricing advisor. He has prepared studies for numerous industries and multinational companies in Europe and Latin America. He specializes in transfer pricing consulting for consumer goods, telecommunications, and insurance industries. Before joining BaseFirma, Mr. Solano worked for more than four years as Senior Manager for the global transfer pricing group at Ernst & Young (“E&Y”) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Previously, he worked as an economic and commercial advisor for the Colombian Embassy in The Hague, The Netherlands, and as a consultant on industrial development policies projects for Latin-American countries before the World Bank and the Interamerican Development Bank, on behalf of the Dutch government. Mr. Solano lectured at the Business School of Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, and at the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, the Netherlands. He also worked for several years as a consultant and researcher for both institutions. Mr. Solano has a master’s degree in development studies from the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, The Netherlands, and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Mr. Solano is fluent in Spanish, English, Dutch, and Portuguese.
