Omar Lopez, Partner. Mr. Lopez is a transfer pricing Partner for BaseFirma’s International Transfer Pricing Group in Mexico City, Mexico. He has been involved in the documentation and consultancy of transfer pricing projects for multinational companies operating in Mexico since 2010. Before joining BaseFirma, Mr. Lopez was the chief of the Transfer Pricing Inspection Department at the Mexican Tax Administration (“SAT”) responsible for the negotiation of Advance Price Agreements and Mutual Agreement Procedures. Previous to this post, he worked as a senior transfer pricing consultant for PwC Mexico. He holds a degree in business administration from the Universidad Contemporanea de Queretaro and a valuation Diploma from Universidad Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). He is an English and Spanish fluent speaker.
